PAFA and AAMP jointly commissioned a groundbreaking new exhibit that featured artworks reflecting on the idea of the ‘rising sun’ metaphor, inspired by both a Benjamin Franklin quote and The Black National Anthem “Lift Every Voice and Sing”.

JEME was asked to develop a full brand and narrative identity that reflected both the profound themes of the exhibit and the presenting museums. The visual was then replicated across posters, postcards, invitations, collateral, merchandise, and the exhibit-specific website risingsunphilly.org. JEME also developed and stewarded the paid media plan for the exhibit, ensuring that its general branding, events and programming were promoted throughout the city across traditional and digital media channels.
